No Wi-Fi? Still logging
The KitchenPortal Android app is built to work without a continuous internet connection. All temperature readings from both Bluetooth probes are stored locally on the device as they come in.

The Inkbird sensors connect directly to the Sunmi device over Bluetooth, not the internet. Readings come in regardless of your network status.
Every reading is persisted locally first. If the Sunmi has no Wi-Fi, it stores everything on-device and syncs the full dataset automatically when connectivity is restored.
At midnight each day, the app automatically packages all ambient temperature records and submits them to KitchenPortal — your daily log is complete without anyone having to remember to press submit.
